CARTAGENA MEMORIES MMXXI

With great enthusiasm, fraternity, and a rich international participation, the Third International Convention of Historians and Numismatists Cartagena MMXXI took place, an event that brought together more than 26 participating countries, as well as prominent numismatists, collectors, traders, companies in the sector, and associations from the American and European continents.

Cartagena MMXXI is considered, to this day, one of the most outstanding numismatic events in the region and the most important in the history of Colombia.

Under the direction of the Colombian Numismatists Foundation led by Andrés Felipe Cortázar, the city of Cartagena de Indias provided the ideal setting for the presentation of unpublished research, presented to the attending public through high-quality conferences meticulously selected by the academic committee led by the iconic scholar-researcher Jorge Proctor.

The seed planted in Potosí in 2016 within the framework of the first International Convention bore fruit in the form of the academic agenda's memories of the Third International Convention of Historians and Numismatists Cartagena MMXXI, a publication that we share today with each and every one of you, allowing us to immortalize this important continental meeting in time.
